This is a handwritten
manuscript originated from Indonesia. The title of this manuscript is Qishasul Ambiyaa ( The story of the prophets) and written in Javanese language. The frontispieces design are typical of Javanese. The cover is made of thin
brownish leather and is glued on a hard board. This is a complete manuscript without
any missing page. The writing material used is Daluang which is a typical Indonesian traditional paper. There is a colophone stating the manuscript was written in 1266 AH ( 1849 CE) in Betawi ( old name for Jakarta). No copyist name mentioned.
