Hi Abu Dervish,
ReplyDeletethe manuscript contains a theological work by a Catholic missionary René Ignace Clisson who was active in Aleppo in the 17th c. He wrote different works in Arabic propagating the Rome Catholic Church. There are many copies of his works both in Western and Middle Eastern libraries. As for the dating, I would say that it is from the 18th c. (it should be checked if there is a colophon at the end of the volume).
Good luck.
Grigory, Thanks a lot for you help. I have updated this entry and will soon send you email in regards to the details. cheers
